This was an absolutely fantastic start to the series! It was a cosy fantasy that I truly loved. Also baby dragons. What's not to love when they sound so cute!
The book was really well written. It was fun to read and very enjoyable. The writing was descriptive which was excellent. Spice wise, it mostly closed doors but Iittle illusions here and there. It was absolutely fine. I don't mind clean romance!! I really liked that the main four dragon breeds were named after gemstones. Basalta (Basalt) Garenta (Garnet), Opala (Opal) and Azura (Azure).
The characters were amazing. Saphira was the sweetest person. I loved her café. It sounds like a beautiful and magical place. She did so much for Aiden and Sparky. Aiden was a great character too. I'm so glad he had Sparky and met Saphira. Sparky himself. He was the cutest baby dragon. He could rival Andarna on the cuteness factor. He was little menace with his sassy pants on at times. I loved him!
The book was written in third person from Saphira and Aiden's point of view. This worked really well in the scope of the story. I'm very excited to read The Baby Dragon Bakery and The Baby Dragon Bookshop when they come out.
I really recommend this to you all. It's so wonderful and special in my opinion!
