Flaws of characters a main focus:
Complicated
The writing of the main character annoyed me to my core. HAS to be one of the dumbest horror/thrillers characters I've ever read. The twist is also very out of left-field and unrealistic. The redeeming part is that the story did have me hooked up until twists started coming at me left and right, about 2/3s in. It's a fine one-day, mindless read, but other McFadden books are much better.
