Sweet Temptation by Wendy Higgins

This is the perfect companion novel. I read Wendy Higgins' [b:Sweet Evil|11808950|Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1)|Wendy Higgins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1337613719s/11808950.jpg|16762455] trilogy years ago and it was a great lazy day afternoon type series. Sweet Temptation shows us Kai's side of the journey. I'm normally hesitant about novels that are just another character's POV as things tend to be repetitive of the first book, but in this case (possibly because it had been a while since I read Anna's version) I found it to be entertaining and refreshing. Knowing what was going to happen, I didn't feel the same suspense or intrigue as I did with [b:Sweet Evil|11808950|Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1)|Wendy Higgins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1337613719s/11808950.jpg|16762455]; however this didn't detract from Kai's book. I still thought it enjoyable.
