This book follows Zach in the aftermath of his breakup with Emily in the previous book. Jenna is hired to tutor Zach, just one of many jocks she has tutored. But as they get to know each other more, they develop feelings for each other.
I think I liked The End Run a bit more than Stalling For Time, since the plot is a bit more simple and less convoluted, and the emotions the characters go through are more relatable. I think for this series, less is more. I also enjoy the trope of the smart wallflower and the popular jock, so even just the set-up of this book worked a lot better for me.
