I’m giving this a four star rating simply because it’s told in the third person POV. Unfortunately, I am one of those readers who really really really does not like reading third person POV.  For that reason only I struggled to finish the book.

What I loved about the book is each chapter was a different tenants story, and each story found its way connected to another Tenant.  This book really outlines the struggles people go through during gentrification.

The chapters in the stories should say that I really loved reading about was chapters 7 8, 10 and 11. Chapter 9 was really good, but had a really sad ending (TW for child loss)

If you’re somebody that loves third person POV then 10 out of 10 not just recommend reading but I feel like it’s a must read.
