Very solid read!! I loved this book but it didn’t blow me out of the water. It’s not a reread type of book for me but i’m glad I read it and i’m excited for book 2! Especially with that ending ohmygosh it was so good. I was on the edge of my seat and gasped multiple times.
AND KATE!! Kate ohmy. I loved how ve schwab portrayed Kate’s trauma in this book. How she had forgotten her traumatic experiences but it still effected her, and the frustration of her not being able to know what it was that had such an emotional impact on her. I also LOVED that her healing process started with remembering what happened to her and embracing/accepting it, and I’m looking forward to exploring that more in book 2.
