This is a fast-paced psychological thriller that included enjoyable twists and had an ending that is sure to surprise.
I loved Sloan as the main female character. She is a strong and self-motivated woman who has made helping others her lifes work. There were moments during her "struggle" that felt a bit out of character as she vasilated between knowing and not knowing (you'll see what I mean when you read the book), but overall I really enjoyed the story. Oh, the ending! I can't say that it took me completely by surprise. I did have suspicions about the plot twist, but it was still enjoyable. The final wrap-up was a great nod to strong female bonds of any age.
