Holy cow. This was an epic end to the trilogy. It was also extremely relevant to our world today.
This talks about oppressive regimes and how those movements are not just their leaders. Even when those leaders topple, the momentum of their ideals continues. Especially when good people do nothing to enact change.
It talks about how hope for change isn't enough. We have to be willing to put in the sacrifices to make that change happen.
This is all wrapped in a massively, epic, story full of love, loss, and magical battles.
As always, Lostetter's prose is absolutely beautiful, and if you can get it, I HIGHLY recommend listening to the audio books. The narrations are absolutely fantastic.
