This was a FUN read! I enjoyed the multiple perspectives and the characters inner dialogue. The messages woven into the plot and learned through the character’s development are powerful and can be grasped by audiences of all ages. Using basketball as the vehicle is genius! I wanted to be there in that gym, witnessing her magic happen. Imagine learning defense from a tiger, or facing your fears while shooting free throws from a crumbling mountain. Bryant and his team did a wonderful job building a world inside of this neighborhood gym. A book I would re-read and share with the children in my life.
