Genius. The concept of aliens or other life forms taking the place of humans (aka mimics) is my absolute favorite genre of scifi.
I knew the plot twist from the beginning, and I thought it was going to be the twist at the end. You know, the panel where he said "i was supposed to be a perfect copy"? I thought that was going to be the end. But that being like page 3 caught me off guard. Now the story is going in a completely different direction than I thought, which i love! This story is going to be absolutely incredible. He captures the high school teenager attitude very well and it's very funny but also very unnerving at the same time, and that's PERFECT. The yoshike's struggles dealing with the fact that Hikaru is not Hikaru is really well shown. The only thing I haven't liked so far is they hint that people disappear in the mountains a lot but then don't mention it again. Also, in the first chapter where the thing or things kill the old lady, it looks like there's more than one but they never confirm their existence. Like is Hikaru the only one or not?
