3.5 stars. The first half of this book was a very slow start for me, which found me a bit lost and confused at points however the second half of the book saved it and I did end up enjoying it with the action we receive at the end. Won’t be in a rush to pick up the second book, but I would like to read it at some point to see if the overall story can be redeemed. We are treated to a little twist at the end which earnt this the extra half star. The little tid bits of romance and banter were nice, and I’d have liked to see more of that. Vampires and tea is a very unique pairing and the idea of that is what initially drew me into this book.
