Grace by himself does not live up to Watney. He lacks the never ending humour and the ability to make the reader get excited about the science behind Andy Weirs books.
Rocky though? Holy shit, I haven’t been this attached to a character in a long long time. Weir doesn’t seem in the habit of writing sequels but I would kill for one just about him.
Overall the book was good but I’m let down by the main character. But then again who could beat Mark Watney, Space Pirate?
