I am broken…… I need book 2 asap. I liked the book from the beginning but was not prepared to fall in love with it and it’s characters.
The first quarter while good, felt like many other fantasy books and in some ways it is and a little predictable….HOWEVER…..the way in which the events play out and the emotional roller coaster that Carissa leads you through was something I was not prepared for.
She buried her characters into my heart and then ripped it apart….. I thought this would be good, but it was soooo much better then good.
I have fallen in love with this author and will now go and read everything she has written.
