I can’t stop thinking about this book. Part of me hated it, part of me loved it and I am not sure where I land. There are so many triggers in this book so you absolutely need to check them before reading and they are real. It is dark, women are treated terribly in this book as standard, the story is dark and at times ugly but it’s adding to a series which is brilliant.
The characters are so well written. Sin as the MMC is so so red flag it hurts. He makes Ryat in the first book look like a puppy. For most of the book I didn’t like him, felt he had no personality but that’s the absolute point I think. Does he redeem himself, I am not so sure but he is interesting to say the least.
Elli as the FMC just broke my heart continually. I wanted to cry for her, I wanted everything to work out for her so badly.
I loved reading this with @cosy_reader_club and thanks to @bookishashrose as well for putting up with my DMs too. Book 3 in the series is now waiting for me.
