This is probably one of the only times that I wish the main character was explained a little better. We meet her as she’s starting a new life and wants to forget the past. But she keeps going back to the same people she used to be friends with, her same old law breaking tricks and her old flame. Normally I would be all happy that someone gets a new start etc.
But not this book.
I felt like she had more in common with her boyfriend and his brother instead of the NEW boyfriend Trey. It just didn’t mesh well and the chemistry was off and the writer didn’t seem like she knew what she was writing, even half way through. Ah well.
