This book was super cute. I like the Abby Jimenez writes her male main characters so in love with the female characters. It’s refreshing and maybe it’s because she switches POV but it feels so genuinely heartwarming to read a man gushing and crushing on a woman. WARNING: This book touches on overcoming relationship abuse. I like that each book I’ve read from Abby is also meant to show love can find you even during tough times and help you continue your journey through it. This book was hopeful, I found it empowering, and it was a HEA.
