A Hex for Danger by Esme Addison

3.5

This was a quick, easy read. I enjoyed revisiting Bellamy Bay and seeing what Alex, her magical family, and her neighbors have been getting into. I will say, at times it was difficult for me to keep all of the new characters straight and remembering what purpose they served to the larger plot. This is why I kept second guessing myself as to who the murderer was, even though my initial suspicious were correct. But I did not see one particular twist coming and liked that I was genuinely caught off guard (even though when I look back, all the signs were there). I most likely will continue on with the series.
