Wow, what a powerful read. This book, like The Hate U Give, is one that everyone should read. It explores racial injustice, systemic oppression, and the challenges young Black men face in the American legal system. It’s raw, real, and deeply moving… a story that will stay with me for a long time. Angie Thomas has such a way of bringing these important themes to life in a way that feels personal and urgent. If you haven’t read this one yet, add it to your list.
