I didn't really know anything about the FLDS cult and so this was an eye opening read for me about some of the horrible things that have happened in the name of this so-called religion.
I can't imagine how difficult the situation was for all these young women who found themselves swept up in this life they didn't ask for. And I admire the bravery Rachel Jeffs along with her sisters showed to get out of the only life they have ever known and take their kids into the outside world. I admire even more that she shared this story with us as readers.
I was happy to see the pictures at the end of her living a good life with her five children and husband (she got to choose). I wish them the best.
