Wilder With You by Serena Bell

5.0

I loved this book and series so much! I admit I may be a little obsessed with the Wilder family. This is the third book in the Wilder Adventure series. These are companion novels, you don't need to read the previous two books before reading this one, but I highly recommend it, the previous stories are awesome too!

Clark and Jessa are the main love interested in this dual perspective romance novel. The grief in this novel, from both Clark and Jessa was so strong. Clark didn't want to open himself up to love anymore, for fear of losing another person he, while Jessa thought she was a cold-hearted, unlovable person. The trope here is fake dating, and it is pulled off wonderfully. Clark and Jessa work to heal each others pain in the most beautiful way possible. I could see the love that both Clark and Jessa were feeling for each other and could see them both falling, fast. They were both so in denial about their feelings, even though it was so obvious to everyone else around them. Serena Bell did an excellent job of writing these two characters and allowing them the space to heal throughout the novel, making the relationship development feel so emotional.

The author, as she usually does, writes steamy love scenes. The chemistry between Jessa and Clark is on point and their was major spice level. This was definitely a fun and spicy read. Not for the faint of heart!

As usual, I loved the Wilder family in this novel. They are such a huge, loving family. I love the chance to get to see the extended family in each book, getting to know all of them each a little more. I also love that Ashley, the sister, is slowly growing her posse of girlfriends, after having been the only girl in that family for such a long time.

I could not put this book down. I started it less than 24 hours ago and am now finished it. I did not want it to end and love this series so much. I always think I couldn't possibly love another Wilder brother more, but Clark and Jessa's story was so heartfelt. Thank you to Serena Bell, the author, for a copy of this novel for review. All opinions are 100% mine.
