I read this in a day and a half. I have never read a Paul Tremblay novel before, but I can tell he is a master of suspense. I fought with myself over and over about what was happening. The main tension of the book is whether or not to believe the strangers, if the world is ending. It's amazing how many times this thought flips and turns and reshapes to show another side. I wouldn't recommend it if you are faint of heart, but if you are looking for a psychological thriller, this will hit the spot. And then some.
