I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Even though I guessed pretty early on who was responsible for all of the things.
I'd never heard of The 12 dancing Princesses before reading this so didn't have anything to go on which is how I usually like to read my books.
There were a lot more horror aspects than I thought there would be, and much darker than I expected from a YA. I'm not usually one for horror as I am a big wuss but it is something I'm trying to get into this year. I found I enjoyed the suspense and horror even if I had to stay up till 3 am for the last 150 pages so I didn't have nightmares... see I told you - wuss
I loved the characters and the story. The plot was intriguing enough for me to finish the book in 2 days. The relationships the sisters had was beautiful and makes me wish I had more sisters.
Though I guessed who was behind the murders, it was written in just a way that I doubted myself a couple of times throughout which I thoroughly enjoyed. Nothing like a good head fuck
