found the plot and many details to just be very tacky in the beginning, though I definitely do not agree with the take that this romanticizing abuse, I actually think it's very accurate to how victims feel and think while in these kinds of situations. but fuck the author for trying to cover up her pedophile of a son. I wouldn't have supported the author by buying the book had I known about her controversy before hand.
