I didn't love the first book (Rule) in this series. I enjoyed Jet (book 2) way more, and I enjoyed this one as well.
I LOVED Cora. She might be one of my favorite female lead characters of all time. I also really enjoyed Rome. I can totally see why Cora was attracted to him. Very much Book-Boyfriend material.
I am not one for extra drama in books, especially when it has to do with a TRUE bad guy. But I think for this book to have that in it, it was handled well. It didn't piss me off, which is a good thing! I also like that they didn't have some huge dramatic fight, where they were on their own for a chunk of the book! So, well done Jay Crownover, and Thank you for doing that!
I do however wish we got to see a little more of their ending, if you know what I mean. I assume we will see it in the next book, but still.
