More Than Enough by Jay McLean

5.0

5 beautiful stars for book number 5!!!

Dylan...you broody, tall, quiet, handsome man.
Riley...you broken, beautiful, loving, writer.

I always wondered who Dylan would end up with. From the glimpses in the first books, I knew him and Heidi were together. I had no idea they would fall apart the way that they did. But thank the lord! Dylan is quiet for a reason. He feels like what he says is not important. Until he meets someone that wants to listen to him.

Riley has everything she wants. She has a boyfriend, amazing friends, plans to go to a good college. Until tragedy strikes. She loses her boyfriend in a freak accident, she skips college altogether, and her friends abandon her when she needs them the most. When the boy next door comes back home that's when her world turns...for the better.

It's a classic story when the boy next door and the girl next door fall in love. It's not a classic story, when both are fighting everything in there power to keep fighting. These two together is fun, exciting, passionate, calming, monumentous. Riley brings Dylan the life that he so desperately needs. Dylan crushes Riley's urges to drink. Dylan is a Marine, so to watch how it affects both of them is heartbreaking.

Book 5 of the More Than series came to a beautiful end. I wanted nothing more than (see what I did there? HAHA) than for this series to continue. I got sucked into the lives of these characters. The stories that were told and how they overcame them. One thing i love that Jay did for the female characters is that she had them basically obsessed with reading (which I loved that because...SAME!). I related to those ladies so much, especially Lucy. But in all honesty I saw myself in each of them. This series is easily in my top 10 favorites. I'm so glad that I read this. I shed so many tears, laughed at all of the humor, and got so angry that I wanted to throw my iPad. Jay McLean...bravo!
