I have never been so invested in a book as I was in this one. The characters were so well written and the plot twists and turns had me shocked at every phase of this story. The notes of political sacrifice and abuse at the hands of a cruel government added such crucial and relevant topics to the current state of the world. There was so much emotion and heart behind each storyline, each character. I’ll definitely be continuing the series
