THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!! I am not a deeply emotional or expressive person, especially while reading. But this book blew that out of the water. I cried four times while reading this. Jackson and West's story is so raw and beautiful. It depicts the perfect example of right person wrong time. West is a deeply traumatized and broken person. He doesn't believe he deserves love, care or compassion. Jackson, on the other hand, is a fixer. He wants so badly to fix West and take on all of his troubles. There were moments where I thought that this was not going to be a HEA and that they would do the best with what they had. I would recommend this book to people who are looking for a real and raw romance, for readers who want an emotional connect with the characters, and who want to trudge through the trenches with the characters. A. Winchester DID the damn thing with this book and I'm excited to explore more from her.
