I have not read a PD James in over a year, and reading this collection has just reminded me about how much I love her stories. Reading her is like reading an Agatha Christie - you have the same gift for storytelling and all the necessary plot twists.
I definitely preferred some stories more than others - but even the ones that I thought weren’t holding my attention as much still managed to surprise me at the end. This was the absolutely perfect way to finish my Christmas evening!
