Doing a re-read of this series since the tv show is coming out this year. Still as good as when I first read it but remember it being more action packed the first time I read it. Its a good set up for the future novels but not as exciting as the rest of the series. Excited to read the rest and get immersed in the vampire academy universe as Rose and Lisa explore spirit and grow up.
