Duchess by Day, Mistress by Night by Stacy Reid
4.0
The more books I read by Stacy Reid the more I love her work. The characters were well developed and the pace of the story moved fast enough to keep me engaged without feeling rushed. One of the things I liked best about this story was the main characters weren't stereotypical. Rhy's, while he was known as 'The Broker' and existed on the fringes of society he wasn't unnecessarily cruel. I also loved how devoted he was to making sure his mother and sisters were taken care of and happy. As for Georgiana, even though her first marriage was arranged to form a society alliance her husband wasn't cruel and her character was very mature for only being 26. With that being said it did take me a little while to warm up to her, she definitely came off as a snob for a lot of the book. Rhy's sisters were interesting side characters and I hope one day they get a series of their own.
