Angels' Flight: A Guild Hunter Collection by Nalini Singh

4.0

Angel's Wolf:
Another side of Nimra is shown, and her actions prove that no, Nimra is not just the cruel, feared angel residing over Louisiana. Noel reminded me of our very own Aodhan, he is loyal and protective.

Angels' Pawn:
Finally, we see where Ashwini and Janvier's courtship began, and how they bonded. This short story takes us back to one of the earlier Ashwini/Janvier meetings and the grounds of their flirtations.

Angels' Judgment:
This short story tells us about Sara and Deacon's first meeting, how their dog was named, and Sara's journey to become Guild Director. It really is a mini instalment of a Guild Hunter book, filled with the same mystery and adrenaline rush.

Angels' Dance:
This tale killed me. Quite a long short story, the content is amazing, and the last few chapters feature some of the best writing overall in this series. My heart breaks for Illium, forever one of my favourites. Jessamy and Galen's first meeting is an intense thing, as they both struggle with inner demons and their unspoken desire for each other. Although it takes time, they learn to trust one another, and that it is okay to be heartbroken sometimes.
