Accidental by Alex Richards
4.0
This book is amazing. There is so much to unpack from it all, so I may change my review in the future, but as of right now I am giving it 4 stars.
I finished this book in one day because I was so invested in Johanna and her journey through all of the drama she had encountered. As an adult I can't imagine doing what her father did to her to set this all off. It is just unfathomable to tell a young adult such devastating news that really accomplishes nothing. Is it unrealistic that she wouldn't have at least Googled her mom once to find out more about the accident, probably not. But that was about my only sticking point to this novel.
