Easily my favorite book I've read this year! I have not been able to find a character who has been compared to Gideon Nav from The Locked Tomb series and actually lived up to the name. I have not been this hyped about a series in a long time. I literally went right to the bookstore and bought the rest of the series. I loved the different portrayals of disabilities in this novel. As a disabled woman myself, I found the portrayal of Kissen and her little family amazing. As I've mentioned in other reviews, I'm also a sucker for the found family trope. I can not wait to continue going through this series.
