“They say home is where the heart is. Well, this is home—here on his chest, in his arms, in this bed, within the walls of the Kingdom. I’m home.”

I have never highlighted so many things in my life, I’m talking whole pages. I read a lot of dark romance so I don’t usually resonate with the characters much. That definitely did not happen here. I was completely sucked in from moment one because of how much I can relate to Alina. Now, don’t even get me started on Nathan 🫠🥵 that man is 😚💨 *chefs kiss* The immediate chemistry between the two of them is off the charts and the spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️‼️‼️ It’s in the same ballpark as 50 shades……only so much better!

I’ll be honest I saw this book on the clock app quite a while ago and just never got around to reading it. I was hesitant to start this book knowing the author is male (but also interested to see how the writing style differs from female romance authors) I went in assuming this would be written more for “the male gaze” as they say, but that’s is not the case at all let me tell you Im kicking myself for not reading it sooner. This is one of my top reads ever. I will immediately be seeing what else this author has in his back list.
