Having just listened to Wicked, I thought I would revisit the original Wonderful Wizard of Oz.  There was a lot I didn't remember - perhaps because I only really remember the movie!  Definitely having just listened to Wicked changed the entire dynamic of the book.  I definitely would recommend reading the original again around the same time as Wicked to try to find the connections and draw your own conclusions.  That probably made my rating a bit harsh this time around as I was trying to square the circle between the two works.

There was a lot more beheadings than I remembered....

This audiobook version was excellent and the narrator did a wonderful job w all of the different characters.
