i had a really lovely time reading this!

i finished it very quickly, and i enjoyed the prose here much more than i did when reading nick and charlie!

i actually really liked tori's inner voice, and found myself getting very attached to her - she reminds me of my depressed teenage self, including the internationalised misogyny lol.. i think perhaps it could be hard to swallow as an adult if u don't take into account alice oseman's age at the time of writing and the year itself. its so of its time, 2014 sad girl tumblr era is extremely nostalgic for me despite my severe mental illness at the time..

every time i put down this book, i wanted to go back to it as soon as possible

as well as tori, i loved michael.. yeah, i just wanted to see them grow and heal, which i think the ending points towards! they're both characters i know from the heartstopper comics, but it was so lovely to see more of them both!
