Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill

Damn you, cover, for being so pretty!

Second time trying to read this and I give up. I honestly just can't take the amount of time spent angsting over the love interest even before we meet him (who has been out of the picture for over a year and she's starving so definitely has more important things to worry about). And once we do meet him, ensue "does he, doesn't he?" angst.

Am I just too old for this now?

C'est la vie. I tried.
