The book never made me care. It was a genuine slog to finish, which I only did because I wanted to see if anything exciting happened… which it didn’t. 
The characters are dull and every single one is so one dimensional. I don’t like a single one of them because they’re all half assed dickheads. 
I simply couldn’t bring myself to care.
