Flame of Resistance by Tracy Groot

3.0

An interesting WW2 story about a downed air force pilot in France who is recruited into the underground French resistance. Tom Jaegar us everything Hitler was hoping for in the new Aryian race; tall, blonde, strong, except he was American. Brigitte was a French woman wishing in the American embassy before Paris fell. She was forced to turn to prostitution to survive in occupied France, opening her grandfather's home as a German-only brothel. When Tom's plane is shot down, he is recruited as a spy for the French resistance, everything is going according to plan, until feelings very involved.

The book read a little slow at first, but once you get about halfway through. But once the plot thickened, oh man, I didn't want to put it down!
