I've read a lot of faery/fae tales over the last 3 years (and probably since I was a kid, too), and this has got to be one of the most boring.

Human girl+boy get captured by the fae, face some faery trials, get mad at each other because of things they faced individually, make up, and still escape together in the end.

I love a HEA but this was just boring; despite the stakes seeming to be high for the characters, the characters weren't 3D enough for me to root for either of them individually OR together.

, that would've been the more interesting story. le sigh.

also there are definitely editing/grammar errors; this could've used a better editor.

Read this only because I'm a completionist and I'm looking to read the main Thornwood Fae trilogy.
