A red-head girl full of hallucinations and a mouth stuffed with a substantial vocabulary is adopted by the old Cuthbert siblings. Marilla and Mathew Cuthbert wanted an orphan boy to help them with the outdoor works but however as an inconvenience of the stupid messenger , Anne was brought instead. Thus the calamity commences.
