Still a cute summer book and loved how it connected the story lines from the first and second books, so you got to see a little bit more dimensions of some characters that were not as central in earlier books.
i did really appreciate how the book did not skim over complex topics and promoted going to therapy. this was refreshing because normally when reading romance books, certain traumas are taken out of it and never talked about. but that is just not the reality of love, family, and relationships. i also thought this book was not just a book about romance, but a love letter to finding yourself and how loving (& healing) yourself is extremely important to ensuring all relationships in your life thrive. the end, where justin talks about what love is had me actually choked up
