I can understand why this book is on everyone's TBR and top rated for this summer. It's a quick read, but it keeps you engaged from beginning to end. It's not a unique love story, but the circumstances for their love is unique. The MMC is lovable from the beginning and I wanted to root for the FMC but she made some questionable choices from beginning to end. The friendship that she has with her best friend/foster sister was both frustrating and endearing because you could see that all her best friend wanted was for her to be happy. I did Iike the Reddit beginning and trendy references, but I feel like that will make this book irrelevant in a couple of years, so it's great to read in this moment.
I was happy to see that there is a happy ending for all of the characters at the end and that the FMC finally gets some therapy.
