I have never finished a book so fast! The emotional roller coaster these two MCs have unfurled for us in this book has me gripped since the beginning. Cole kind of redeemed himself in my eyes in this book compared to the first book where I thought he was a bit emotionless. I’m glad Mara found her niche when it came to her life and seeing her character being built into confidence had me smiling. Love the connection between Cole and Mara and the fact that Cole is such a simp for his girl.
