The author did a great job making this a steamy romance even though it was filled with lots of drama. Her stories are always enthralling. She is so detailed, and her characters really come to life. The story of friends turned lovers is an ancient tale, but her spin on it was fabulous. I loved getting to know Xander better and seeing him defeated by a girl, just barely an adult. The age difference between the main characters definitely threw me at first. Still, I have to say maturity-wise, they seem to be at the same level.
Like all her books, this one contained plenty of steamy scenes and an excellent rockstar story.
