The Killer Across the Table by John E. Douglas, Mark Olshaker

4.0

Douglas presents a fairly matter-of-fact recounting of disturbing subject matter. I appreciated that it was not overly sensationalistic or graphic for its own sake, and that some of the chapters included potentially suspicious tells which have been associated with violent individuals. Groff's reading was nuanced and sensitive, well-adapted to the subject matter.
