Tried for a few minutes to see if I could come up with a palindrome that what summarize my thoughts on this book, but I'm simply not cut out for that kind of advanced wordplay. This author on the other hand has clearly mastered it. The beautifully clever book is chock-full of so many original palindromes (as well as tributes to some all-time classics) that I could barely even keep up with them all. It's a simple story, but the cute illustrations and funny characters and locales serve as the perfect backdrop for the most elaborate string of mirrored sentences that I think has maybe ever been put to text. A true paragon of the art form that I wish everyone would read once just to appreciate what was accomplished with it. (8/10)
