‘It’s true what they say – it’s not we who control money, it’s the money that controls us. When there’s only a little, it behaves meekly; when it grows, it becomes brash and has its way with us.’
JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP! Look for whom You're saying this! This book singlehandedly promoted and celebrated age long sexism of our society. Bunch of spineless, gullible men controlling the life of female members of the family, and that bitches are actually okay with it! I Don't see how such a sexist book can be a massive success in India.
Our main protagonist cuts off tie with a girl simply because She's feminist, works for a women welfare organizations! And when his wife was being harassed by his own family member he did not raise a single word. Moreover, he joined his mom and sister to assault his uncle's mistress (!). If that wasn’t bad enough for you, wait this author had the guts to victimize this soulless piece of shit, portraying in a way that we root for him, feel bad for his situation, feel bad for his entrapment amid the family affairs. Seriously?
Now put all this shenanigans into their shady family business and money! Money controlled them. NO FUCKING ONE IS QUESTIONING THE CHARACTERS? What's wrong with you guys? Forgot to mention, it ends on a CLIFFHANGER asif it wasn't vicious enough !
Our society is enough toxic, we Don't need more of it. My humble request, Don't promote shit like this.
