I wanted to like this book SO badly. And I did like a good portion of it. I think its kind of Hunger-Games-meets-Greek-myths works REALLY well. The whole time I thought something was just kind of... off about it, and another reviewer said it perfectly: everything feels like a climactic moment, and because of that, NOTHING does. There's no moment to rest and I've read better romances with those tropes.

I think this book will be great for some people, and I liked her writing enough to check it out in the future. Just SOMETHING about the pacing didn't click for me, and it might work for others. :)
