I have been waiting for Brody's story and it did not disappoint! He's always been around, playing bodyguard and protector to anyone in his family that needed him. But now his cousin's best friend, Harper, needs him and he makes sure to jump in and save the day. I seriously love these two together. They had the best banter too. Brody is a broody, grumpy, very closed off man but underneath all the gruff exterior is a man with a huge heart.  He most definitely turns into a giant softie for Harper.  Their chemistry is undeniable and I love how much they care about each other. 

I loved the suspense aspect too. I was literally on the edge of my seat, heart racing, waiting to see what was going to happen. 

I loved this book and I must say, I'm definitely intrigued about Nick's story now!!
